7) Go to Bridge Bar's outdoor live jazz session every Friday (it's in Valletta so you can combine it with the Ta Nenu pizza)
8) If you want to eat huge portions and rabbit or horse (they even have vegetarian stuff don't worry :D) go to Mgarr village and eat at either 1) Tal-Ingliz, 2) Il-Barri or 3) United. Mgarr is very small town and all the three restaurants are around the church, just 1 minute from each other.
9) Clubbing and Nightlife
a) If you want to go out clubbing the obvious choice is Paceville in St Julians where all the discos and bars are - they are all free to enter, however, there might be a lot of young students. After dancing there you can go down to a small beach close by and have a swim before going home.
b) If Paceville is a bit too crazy or young for you, I suggest going to Strait Street in Valletta where a number of new bars are opening recently for a slightly older crowd - 25 years plus - for example there is StrEat whisky bar and other alternative places to visit and you can easily spend a lovely evening there

c) Another place which most foreigners don't know about is Gianpula - a club complex (3 or more different areas) close to Rabat & Mdina where the locals go clubbing :)Entrance is not free (about 10 Euros) but the place is amazing)
10) Be sure to visit Imdina - Malta's old capital city - exactly in the middle of Malta which was built by the Arabs and has great panoramic over Malta

12) Drinks
a) Try our local beer - Cisk, it's very light compared to Belgian beers but very refreshing when it's hot.
b) Apart from Cisk we even have Kinnie which is a local soft drink you can only find in Malta - it's bittersweet and you either love it or hate it :)

13) Juuls Reggae bar
This bar deserves a separate post because it's great on many levels.
a) You can visit it when you're in Paceville and feel like something different and if you're there try their 'Bombaklaat' cocktail which is amazing, huge and cheap as well! Win-win-win
b) If you EVER see that they are organising a 'Babylon by boat' boat trip to the Blue Lagoon - make sure you book and go - a boat trip to the crystal clear waters there with reggae music (and smoke from suspicious substances around you) is a once in a lifetime experience. You can even have a swim when the boat stops.
